Application areas:

■ This high-powered chipper with lateral intake is intended to be used for
chipping whole trees up to 560 mm in diameter, as well as for forest residue
and cut shrubbery.

Making successful products even better:

Depending on the material being processed and the driving power, processing
rates of up to 180 m²/h are possible for the HEM 582 DQ.

■ The easygreen control system is a standard feature of the HEM 582 and
HEM 561 chippers. Tasks can be performed comfortably and efficiently
thanks to the hydraulic table-locking device on the HEM 582.

■ For both machines, the upper intake roller is driven by a low-maintenance,
internal gearbox.

■ No time-consuming cleaning tasks are necessary due to the design of the machine stand (closed off at the sides).

■ Optional dual-engine system, with blower being driven externally via the
tractor or carrier vehicle, for maximum throughput.

Optimum cost-efficiency:

■ The reduced speed in VARIO mode ensures an optimum balance between
chip output and fuel consumption with regards to cost-efficiency.

■ For the purpose of changing the screen basket, the rear panel of the
chipper can be opened hydraulically. Also, as an alternative, blades can be changed on this side.

■ Independent engagement of the rotor and blower allows for a simplified free running of the HEM 582.
