Application areas:

■ The chipper, driven by the PTO shaft of a powerful, new-generation tractor, is optimally designed for tasks involving reducing whole trees up to 560 mm in diameter, as well as forest residue and cut shrubbery.

■  The three-axle vehicle has a woodchip silo with a capacity of 15 m³ (which folds around one of its upper corners).

Elaborate logistical planning:

■ Concerning the discharging of chips, the silo acts as a buffer between the chipper and trailer or lorry in the logistics chain.

■ By allowing chips to accumulate in the silo, immobilisation periods can be avoided for the chipper when changing the trailer. Hence, delay periods arising during the discharge of processed material can be circumvented, and consequently, an outstanding level of cost-efficiency is achieved.

■ With optional additional lifting hight of the silo, a transfer height of more than
4 m is possible.

 

Convincing arguments:

The tractor engine simultaneously serves as the drive engine for the
PTO-shaft-driven mobile chipper, while the tractor´s cab is also used as the “workplace” for the machine operator.

Even accounting for the silo, the machine is compact, can turn in a
tight circle, and can be used for a wide range of applications, thanks to the
lifting axle. An exceptional degree of cost-efficiency is the result.
