Application areas:

■ Various designs: Available as diesel-powered chipper with latera or longitudinal intake, mounted on a track roller set or chassis, or as a fixed
structure on a lorry. Also available as PTO-shaft-driven chipper (power from
coupled tractor: 74 kW or higher) or as a centre-axle trailer connected by a
three-point hitch. A standard trailer can thereby be converted into a self-propelled bona fide harvester for thinning applications.

■ Intended to be used for the processing of forest residue, grass/foliage
cuttings and trunk wood and with diameters up to 360 mm; depending on
material, a throughput rate of up to 60 lcm/h is possible (or even beyond this
value, for the ZA variant).

Impact force in compact form:

■ Owing to the compactness of the engine compartment of the dieselpowered
machine together with the machine stand, the machine is extremely short and can turn in a tight circle. A consistently high impact force is possible because of the standard, built-in CAT engine with 129-kW power rating.

Chipping power in compact form:

■ Impressive performance: For a power output of 74 kW or higher from the
tractor, the PTO-shaft-driven chipper can achieve an optimum throughput rate, depending on the material.

■ A foldable intake table with upper intake roller and lower steel-link conveyor is ideal for reducing roadside greenery.

■ Mobility and flexibility: The HEM 360 Z has a high degree of mobility due to the 60-km/h single-axle chassis. The sturdily built drawbar allows loading cranes with various ranges to be attached.

■ Continuous flow of material: Theintake of the ZA model is positioned close to the ground, material to be fed is raised only slightly by the crane and grasped by the intake without any difficulty.
