BA 965 D (XL) Titan

Outstanding performance in biomass processing

Application area:

■ The heaviest and most powerful biomass processors are the XL Titan (semi-trailer) and Titan models, and are also available as centre-axle trailers.

■ The machine is intended for the processing of particularly largeamounts of green waste, small timber, trunk wood with diameters up to 600 mm, bark, bio-waste, scrap wood and household waste.

Powerful intake:

■ A standard component of the machine is the powerful CAT engine (C18), 571 kW (776 hp).

Less energy, less wear, more cost-efficiency:

■ Optimum use of the high driving power achievable due to the 4,000-metre-long (Titan) or 6,000-metre-long (XL Titan) conveyor intake; a continuous flow of material is guaranteed.

■ Easy loading due to the high capacity of the conveyor intake, and consequently the machine is subjected to permanently high loads for
extremely high throughput rates.

Throughput rates of up to 350 m³/h are possible, depending on the material being processed.

■ Full range of configuration options without weight-related problems due
to the triple-axle chassis (manufactured as standard).

■ easygreen – Innovative control system for monitoring and operation of machine, plus recording of business-management and service data.

■ Energy-efficient JENZ Energy Saver (JES) option and VARIO-flex control unit for reduced fuel consumption.

easy system - Innovative and impressive hammer system as standard:

■ Flexibility for every application

■ Very powerful striking force due to its own weight

■ Increased throughput rate

■ Reduction of fuel consumption

■ Greater durability of all wear parts

■ Extremely simple “single-person assembly”

■ The internal gearbox for the upper intake roller and the resulting enclosed
structure of the machine stand prevent material from spilling over.

■ The standard, built-in collecting system for “spill-over” material is used
in stationary applications, and, with this, the need to continually carry out
cleaning tasks beneath the machine is a thing of the past.

■ The standard, impact protection system (IPS) helps to prevent the machine
being damaged by foreign matter striking it.

■ With a maximum permissible speed of 80 km/h, the chassis ensures
extreme mobility and a quick setup for operation.
