The alternative to a brand-new machine: permanently changing market requirements are a way of life for companies and local authorities. The range of machinery used is affected accordingly. It often happens that a customer wants to replace a mobile chipper with a larger model after only a few years of use since the previous machine is no longer able to be operated economically. These relatively young used machines then represent an inexpensive alternative to new machines, because the second-hand units are often a long way away from an average overall operating time of 15,000 operating hours or more.

Customers who decide to purchase a used machine do not have to compromise, because the entire range of services offered by JENZ GmbH naturally also applies to used mobile chippers or biomass processors. A large proportion of used machines are taken in payment by JENZ on the purchase of a new model. Resales of machines without an overhaul are exceptions. The large majority of machines are tested from head to toe in three different categories:

• ·         machine works-overhauled, ready for operation and in good condition
• ·         machine generally overhauled, ready for operation and in good condition

Experienced mechanics carry out all the most important wear repairs before resale. In doing so, only JENZ original spare parts which carry a JENZ guarantee of six months are used.
