JENZ offers drawn wood chippers in two versions:
PTO chippers and machines with add-on enginges
PTO chippers, as their name suggests, are driven by the tractor's PTO shaft. The heart of this chipper type is a proven driveline system. The necessary power requirement starts at 110 kW (150 hp) and goes up to 400 kW (544 hp) for the large tractor class.
Chippers with add-on engines have an output of 390 to 597 kW (530 to 812 hp). They are distinguished between transverse and longitudinal superstructures. Transverse superstructures are highly mobile and very flexible in their use. Longitudinal superstructures, on the other hand, are semi-mobile and are used in port terminals, for example. Chippers in longitudinal superstructure design are fed by wheel loaders or handling excavators.
